 Each grade level maintains a pattern of growth  Kindergarten and 1 st grade moved above the MAP average in Reading and Math last Spring  The pattern of growth has been consistently been maintained for many years 9

 Class average scores are often below the National average on MAP  MAP’s National average is below the score needed to predict Proficient on KPREP  The gains made at each grade level are significantly regress each summer 10

 Continue MAP assessment administered and data analysis at every grade level three times per year to show student growth, student instructional level, and skills needed for growth  Small group instruction aimed at data proven level of mastery of the student in Math and Reading  Continue use of Odyssey Compass and new Writing Units for improving instruction  Develop independent practice on reading and math computation through Scholastic Reading Counts Quizzes and Sum Dog math questions  ESS tutor to assist in 1 st grade help with RTI students and Small group for helping 22 students  Title 1 tutor to add Intervention to needy students in Kindergarten and 2 nd grade in areas of need in math and reading  Instructional coaches used to co-teach classes to improve level of instruction  Continue data goal setting and conferencing with every student to focus on student growth  Focus on problem solving, vocabulary, Thinking Strategies, language mechanics, and writing  Continue to Develop a deep knowledge of Common Core Standards to embed in instruction  Improve Program Review by increasing staff member participation and checking progress throughout the school year by looking over scoring rubric and work accomplished  Increase the use of the Leader in Me Process by all stakeholders to confidence, competence, and responsibility 11
