6 Elementary: Student Growth Goals (sample) Reading (2 nd Grade) By Spring of 2015, 100% of students in the English reading classes will move up at least one quadrant in recognizing medial sounds in phonological awareness, based on the STAR Early Literacy assessment given in October 2014 Baseline Data: Star Early Literacy assessment, medial sounds under phonological awareness - Quadrant 1: 24 students, Quadrant 2: 8 students, Quadrant 3: 2 students, Quadrant 4: 0 students Growth Expectations: 100% of English Reading students will increase medial sounds under phonological awareness by at least 1 quadrant on the STAR Early Literacy assessment. Math (1 st Grade) By spring of 2015, 44/52 students will score 40 points or more on addition/subtraction facts within 10. Eight students will score at least 20 points with manipulatives and additional time. Students will be assessed 1:1 with teacher on a pre and post test consisting of 10 addition facts and 10 subtraction facts, each worth at least 3 points on our rubric. Baseline: 0/52 students scored 40 points or more on the addition/subtraction facts within 10 in October 2014. Expectation: By spring of 2015, 44/52 students will be able to score 40 points or more on addition/subtraction facts within 10. Eight students will score at least 20 points with manipulatives and additional time.
