Main Campus is in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Serving 7 Counties. WHERE IS KIRKWOOD COMMUNITY COLLEGE ?

All are ‘hands on’ labs for our students education. 417’ WIND TURBINE, EQUINE EVENTS FACILITY, HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTER

The only teaching hotel at a 2 year college in North America

Via our Single Mode Fiber Infrastructure already in place. ONLY A FEW AREAS NEEDED DAS EXTENDED TO THEM

A PROPER SURVEY HELPS A LOT

1). Will the DAS be a Dedicated Single Service Provider or Neutral Host DAS 2). What Frequency Bands will need to be included per Service Provider 3). How will DAS be fed? BDA (repeater) or BTS (base station) 4). If DAS is to be BDA fed which in-building locations have sufficient coverage from the Macro. If BTS fed need to understand dominance over Macro requirements. 5). Obtain floor plans 6). Perform site survey to understand location of DAS Headend, Equipment Closets, Roof Penetration, Building Construction, etc. Include installation contractor as well. 7). Create DAS design. 8). Generate Quote. 9). After award of project, manage and install DAS. Additionally, … for BDA fed systems – re-broadcast agreements need to be obtained for BTS fed systems – work with service provider and local telco to facilitate BTS integration into network DAS GENERAL PROCESS STEPS

10). Commission DAS 11). Commission RF donors into DAS – typically will not occur at same time and will require multiple visits 12). Optimize DAS 13). As-Built/Close Out Documentation DAS GENERAL PROCESS STEPS
