California Energy Commission Redondo Beach Energy Project Biological Resources- PSA Andrea Martine

California Energy Commission Biological Resources– PSA There are 5 areas on site that are considered wetlands (5.93 acres) that fall under the jurisdiction of the California Coastal Commission at the Redondo Beach Generating Station (Figure 1). These wetlands would be mitigated to less than significant by implementing Condition of Certification BIO-9. Under this condition the project owner would provide funding to an existing or soon to be established salt marsh or estuary habitat restoration program.

California Energy Commission

Biological Resources– PSA Preliminary Impact Analysis Findings:  Project would comply with LORS  Impacts would be less than significant.  Staff recommended Conditions of Certification BIO-1 through BIO-9 ensure LORS compliance and less than significant impacts.
