Defining My Job Search for The Position for Me! Database Administration, Data Analyst, Helpdesk

Introduction  Defining my job search is an ongoing process due to a lot depends on the market, businesses, and economy. The main thing remains is that technology fields will be forever continuing to grow as long as there are innovated ideas. I remember when it was a crash in the IT market, there were not many jobs to be found in that field, but now there is an abundance of them. I will explain my goal to obtain a position in this very field and how I am to get there.

My Types of Industries to Work For  There are many industries in the US to work for, it could also apply overseas but I am remaining in the US for now.  Airlines Automotive Câble & Satellite TV Production & Distribution Computer Software Téléphone Utilities Internet

How Close these Industries that Fit Me  These industries fit me because all need technical support and they have databases that need managing. They also have a starting point to get me in the door with like  Help desk support  Data Analyst

My Expectations and How They Compare  Expectations from these industries is high because they are ongoing industries that are not going anywhere. Some will need to travel by air, will need to make a phone call, purchase and / or travel by automobile, access the internet for research, and want to sit down at some point and watch television for various reasons.

Revised Portfolio  I have revised my portfolio by updating the Intro, fonts color in some areas, checked spelling, updated my resume to reflect what I have accomplished and new skills acquired and added some photos for variety.  All this was done to reflect who I am and what I have achieved and that I can fill the position and do the job.

Timeline  So my timeline that I have set for myself from the beginning until now.  1 to 4 years for BS  1 to 2 years working in Helpdesk support position  1 to 2 years Data Analyst position.  Having worked with Data Analyst position for this length of time should then put me with a little more skill set working with Databases and acquired a Database Admin position.  And with two years of working with Database Admin position will then put in me a position to continue but in a on call position from home as a Database Admin.

What I See That Impress Prospective Employers  My length of dedication to employers  My passion to help others  My diligence to complete what I started  My knowledge acquired and shared  My awards to show I care.  My vision shown through my eyes and the Many hats I wore.

Summary Overall I try to learn many facets of the industry so I can be versatile, which means I can adjust to the settings at hand to get the job done. Share a vision even if it appears a little different but willing to make changes if needed The longevity that is in place shows dedication which puts me in a position to one day run a company’s database /
