How Pledging Works Choosing a Charity Approximately 1,000 organized under nine “umbrella” charities Charities can change each year; be sure to look at the guide for current charities Indicate the corresponding 8-digit code for your charity on your pledge form or in ESS

How Pledging Works What Happens Next Your donation is sent monthly the appropriate umbrella, which passes funds on to your designated charity SECA assesses a 6% administrative fee to cover form processing, printing, etc. –Any unused portion of this percentage is distributed back to umbrella charities –For this small fee, many charities that do not have marketing budgets or a large staff gain instant access to a pool of nearly 100,000 potential donors Donor Common- wealth Umbrella Member Charities
