Debris located IVO multiple airfields and ports. UNCLASSIFIED

KAMAISHI PORT Z Z 3916N 14154E Multiple surface vessels observed transiting harbor; No major damage to port facility noted; Roadway in the vicinity of port appear unobstructed

SHONAI AIRFIELD Z – Z 3813N 14054E UNCLASSIFIED No obstructions observed; One aircraft noted taxing on runway; Heavy snow accumulation noted

SAKATA PORT Z – Z 3857N E UNCLASSIFIED Construction equipment activity observed; Multiple tug boats noted transiting waterways

AKITA AIRFIELD Z – Z 3535N 14015E – 3948N 13940E UNCLASSIFIED No obstruction observed; 1x airplane, 2x helicopters staged IVO hanger bay; 1x airplane park in front of hanger bay; Heavy snow accumulation

AKITA PORT Z – Z 3945N 14001E UNCLASSIFIED Major surrounding roadways free of obstruction; Port entrance unobstructed; Normal surface traffic observed; Port facilities appear operational; Large commercial cruse liner noted transiting harbor

HACHINOHE PORT Z – Z 4031N 14130E UNCLASSIFIED 2x surface vessels aground; Minor debris scattered; Main pier observed intact; Port facilities appear operational

Hachinohe Port I N E UNCLASSIFIED Observed JCG station. Broken bank and damages on seawalls by the entrance.

Hachinohe Port I N E UNCLASSIFIED Observed oily waste from the pier. Multiple debris and obstruction in the channel. Observed multiple ships in the pier. 4 cranes and all appears to be operable. Roads out of port appears to be normal.. Observed 4 ships washed to shore. 1 ship on shore blocking the road, trashes and debris by the side.

Aomori Port Z N E UNCLASSIFIED Multiple empty piers with 700 yds in length and appear to be ready to receive ships pierside. 5 cranes and all appears to be operable.. Weather broken 4,500 ft. Normal and routine activity IVO port and no JMSDF in the area. Electricity, communications, and security appears to be normal. Storage yard present with containers by the pier. No signs of ecological and biological hazards.

Aomori Channel Z N E UNCLASSIFIED No debris or obstructions in/out the channel and it is navigable. No buoys observed

Hanamaki Airfield Z N E UNCLASSIFIED Z N E Z N E180706Z N E Observed 1x C-17 and multiple commercial aircrafts parked. 4 JMSDF rescue helicopters. Observed snow but no damage, no debris to report. Light traffic and all roads conditions normal.

Akita Port I N E UNCLASSIFIED Observed no debris and obstructions in the channel. The channel is navigable. 4 buoys in port and all buoys normal. Observed 3 tugs, 2 group IIIs in the pier. 1 crane loading cargos on 1 group III. Measured piers about 200 yds x 600 yds and they are ready to receive ships pierside. Observed 5 cranes around the pier and all operable. Cargo train rails by port and passenger train terminal about 1.2 nm east of the port. Rails not damaged. All roads traffic flows routine and normal. Weather overcast at 3,000 ft. Normal activity IVO port, and Japanese Coast Guard station by port. Observed 3 patrol crafts and 7 fast movers inside of coast guard station. Electricity appears to be on and sewer drain appears to be working. No signs of oil, oily waste, and human remains. Light shipping traffic volume in the area and 2 group IIIs moored.

Akita Airfield Z Z 3936N 14012E UNCLASSIFIED Observed 3 JASDF rescue helicopters, 2 JASDF rescue jets, 2 commercial aircrafts in the terminal, and 1 commercial aircraft on the runway. No damages, and normal activities on the airport. Roads to the airfield are normal and light traffic volume. Observed ongoing construction on the road.

UNCLASSIFIED Sakata Port I N E Crew observed no debris or obstruction in the channel and it is navigable. 3 buoys in port and 2 buoys in channel. 1 empty pier with 1000 yds in length and appears to be ready to receive ships pierside. 3 cranes and all appears to be operable. Weather overcast at 3,000 ft. Normal traffic on the roads and no damages to report. Observed cargo rails 1.3nm southeast of port and no damages to report. Storage yard with containers present by the pier. No signs of ecological and biological hazards. 4 group IIIs IVO port.
