2 Barletta Construction: Parent Organization In 1914, Vincenzo Barletta, a recent immigrant from Italy, built the foundation of his own American Dream and established the V. Barletta Company in Roslindale, Massachusetts. In its fourth generation of family ownership and management, the Barletta companies' headquarters is in Canton, Massachusetts. Its two construction entities perform different categories of work. Barletta Engineering Corporation constructs water and sewage treatment facilities, gas- fired and renewable energy power plants, green roofs and spaces, and commercial buildings. Barletta Heavy Division, Inc. is focused on work such as airports, roads, highways, bridges and tunnels, public transportation projects, railroad and light rail tracks, landscaping, environmental remediation, site work and utilities. Barletta companies have a professional staff of 90, Barletta companies have a fleet of over 300 pieces of equipment, Prequalified by the Massachusetts Highway Department, Department of Conservation and Recreation, the Division of Capital Asset Management, and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. www.barlettaco.com John J. 3 Sparrows Point Industrial Complex Established in 2004, Sparrows Point Shipyard Industrial Complex (SPSIC) is conveniently located just off of interstate 695 in the Baltimore outer harbor on the eastern side of the Key Bridge on the Patapsco River. The facility is serviced by a local rail line, the Patapsco Back River Railroad, with connections to both CSX and Norfolk-Southern. Land for lay-down, long and short-term cargo storage and other activities are available at various locations within the SPSIC, dependent upon the acreage required and other needs. Buildings are available in a variety of sizes, ranging from 10,000 sq. ft. to 100,000 sq. ft.. Buildings are available for a variety of marine and industrial uses, manufacture, assembly, storage, training and repair. 8 Sparrows Point Industrial Complex: Graving Doc k Sparrows Point Shipyard Industrial Park has one of the largest, privately-owned graving docks on the east coast. At 1200’ by 200’ with a depth of 28’, the Graving Dock can accommodate a wide range of vessels for repair, construction, and recycling. For vessels with deeper drafts, the graving dock can be super-flooded to accommodate slightly deeper drafts. Each side of the Graving Dock is serviced by a 200- ton Clyde crane. Electric, fresh water and sewer services are available at the dock. The graving dock can also be used as a wet birth for loading and un-loading cargo with large capacity cranes and generous area around the basin. 12/10/2014www.spshipyard.com 8
