Employees 18 people Between May 2008 and April 2009, the cost waste service was £5,941 and based on the most recent 4-months between May and August 2009 is predicted to increase to £6,672 for the following year. The cost of heating using the gas convection heaters was £6,295 (169,687 kWh) for the same year. A combined cost of £12,236 per annum Case Study 2 - Joinery Company

Purchase of two 150kW wood-fired convector heaters to replace the two existing 145kW gas-fired heaters and allow burning of the Company’s waste wood as a fuel to heat the factory. Cost of two 150kW wood-fired convector heaters = £20,500 installed. Savings in waste disposal = £5,941 per annum or 20.8 tonnes. Savings in gas use for heating = £6,295 per annum or 169,687 kWh. Services; Services Business Resource Review The Business Resource Review, Water Review and EMS Review, Support available to individual businesses: On-Site Review- Identify potential areas of resource- use reduction opportunities or assist with practice/process Review Report - highlights the key opportunities, solutions. Feasibility Studies Support available to individual businesses; -Up to 5 days on-site review by consultant for the collection and assessment of the opportunity - A bespoke report and action plan providing details of the findings of the feasibility and detailing the recommendations - Up to 10 days follow-up support to assist the customer to understand feasibility report and implementation the project
