What can it be used for? Collect bibliographic records from various databases (journal articles) Manage the collected data (categorise, edit etc.) Use of the database for: –Making a bibliography –Write an article with references 2

1. Create new Endnote database, and collect data: Start menu – All Programs – Endnote – Endnote Program 3

Welcome screen, we can read the help, create a new library, or open an existing one Choose Create a new library option 4

1.a Create a new library We can name the library, and specify the place of it on the computer. 5

Endnote Web Web version of the Endnote program, it can be accessed freely if you subscribe to Web of Science or Endnote. Advised to use it, if we dont have the Endnote program installed. It can be syncronised with Endnote. 59
