Comments/Questions

Virtual CIRTL Network Meetings Are there ways to incorporate some of the benefits* of in-person meetings in our virtual meetings? * networking, problem solving, updates, resource sharing, thought provoking conversations, insights, connections

Select Feedback from Ames We need more time for in-depth discussions (e.g. Expansion & Learning Outcomes) The breakout sessions let everyone’s voice be heard Hearing from a wide range of people was useful Personal interactions and activities that drive connectivity were useful

Virtual CIRTL Network Meetings We want these meetings to be a positive experience for participants and we need to start planning for an expanded Network. Can we try to capture some of the positive aspects of the in-person meeting in our virtual meetings? Can we use some of the strategies used by online instructors in our virtual meetings? What would you like to see in the virtual meetings?

Potential Discussion Questions What content topics would you like to discuss at the CIRTL Network meetings? Who do you want to hear from at these meetings? ( institutional leaders, leadership team, team members, instructors/organizers, CIRTL Central, student participants, operation groups, others? ) What types of information would YOU like to share with the community? Do you want to hear more about what is going on at Network institutions? How should we do that? How can we encourage more interaction in the Network Meetings? What has been most useful or engaging in prior meetings?

Breakout sessions You’ll be automatically moved into a breakout room with 6 or fewer people. Upon entering the room: 1.Turn on your camera 2.Turn on your microphone 3.Discuss and write comments on the whiteboard 4.The bottom name on the breakout room participant list will report out when we return to the main room. (We’ll pull the whiteboards back to the main room.) 5.You’ll be pulled back to the main room 30 seconds after the timer rings BBC “experts” please provide assistance

How can the virtual Network meetings be optimized to suit your needs? Content Format/Process
