5 Onboarding New Network Members: Building on ideas generated in Ames and virtual meetings 1. Mentoring for New Members 2. Bootcamp for New Members 3. Ideas for Smaller Groups (regional, school type, other) 4. Best use of the online environment (synchronous web-conferencing)

6 The 1st person on the breakout room participant list (excluding the CIRTL Central person) should be prepared to report out when the group returns to the main room. The 3rd person in the breakout room participant list (excluding the CIRTL Central person) will be the group facilitator, keeping the conversation moving and welcoming comments from all participants Approximately 30 seconds after the time rings, everyone will be pulled back to the main room.

7 How to move into a breakout room 1. Find your room in the bottom left of the screen, under ‘Participants’ 3. Select “Enter Breakout Room” 2. Move your mouse over your breakout room and click the pull-down menu icon that appears on the right 3. Select “Enter Breakout Room”

8 Breakout Rooms Once in the breakout room, you’ll need to turn your cameras and microphones back on. To return to the main room, use the drop down menu next to your name
