11 Onboarding ▪ Goals: ▪ Teach new institutions about CIRTL mission and core ideas ▪ Help new institutions set up CIRTL for success on their campuses ▪ Incorporate new institutions into CIRTL Network ▪ How to accomplish these goals ▪ Provide curated materials ▪ On-line sessions for presentation of material and discussion of different topics ▪ Mentoring: one-on-one and group sessions

12 Onboarding: Content Timeline ▪ Jan: Invitations sent and new institutions matched with mentor groups and primary mentors ▪ Feb: CIRTL 101– CIRTL Mission and Setting up CIRTL on Your Campus ▪ March: CIRTL Core Ideas: TAR, LtD and LCs ▪ April: Learning outcomes and pathways to different levels ▪ May: Contributing to the cross-network learning community (CNLC) ▪ June: In-person Meeting ▪ Sessions led by members of Onboarding Committee and other volunteers– if you would like to help create/lead one of these sessions, please let me know!

13 Onboarding: Mentoring ▪ Thank you for completing the current member survey! ▪ Currently using the results of this survey combined with new member applications to set up mentoring groups ▪ Each new institution will be part of a group with 4 existing institutions and 5 new institutions ▪ Will have one “primary” mentor ▪ Mentoring groups will have a “lead” institution ▪ Mentor group on-line discussions will begin after the first onboarding on-line meeting
