The Summit Why The Summit l Like water, roads and electricity high speed connections to the Internet are critical infrastructure for Arizona communities l Arizona’s citizens must also have access to technologies such as computers, smart phones, entertainment devices. l They must have the ability to use those technologies effectively l Many tribal, rural and other underserved communities do not have fast and affordable broadband connections l Many Arizonans do not have access to, cannot afford, or are not prepared to use these technologies to participate effectively in the Digital World.

Digital Arizona Program ASET, Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology Office created Digital Arizona Program (DAP) to develop strategies to: l expedite deployment of affordable high speed broadband services to rural communities l enable rural communities and citizens to use next generation Broadband to support education and eLearning, Telemedicine, Public Safety, Economic Development and more l This Summit is a part of their outreach initiatives Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology Office, a division of the Arizona Department Of Administration received federal stimulus money to create the Digital Arizona Program (DAP) that will develop strategies to:
