 Smoking kills people every day.  Smoking starts cancer in a person every day.

 Altria made $5.9 billion last year.  Lorillard made $5.23 billion last year.  S & M Brands made about $5 billion last year.

 There are over 4,000 chemicals in a cigarette.  40 of them are known carcinogens.

 Tar – causes teeth to turn yellow  Hydrogen Cyanide – used to kill rats  Benzene – used in manufacturing companies  Acetone – in nail polish  Formaldehyde – used to preserve dead bodies  Ammonia – used to clean with  Carbon Monoxide  Nicotine – the most used chemical in cigarettes. Causes tremors and shaking

 Smoking can cause to stain, turning them yellow.  It can also cause hair to stain with the smell of smoke.

 Finger nails can turn yellow from smoking.  Toe nails can also turn yellow from smoking.

 This is what could happen to your teeth if start to smoke.

 About 3,400 lung cancer deaths a year are a result of secondhand smoke

 Secondhand smoke causes50,000 to 300,000 lung infections in children younger than 18 months of age.  Secondhand smoke can produce six times the pollution of a busy highway when in a crowded restaurant.

 It also causes more than 750,000 middle ear infections in children.

 Within ten years of giving up smoking, the risk of heart attack falls to the same as someone who has never smoked.  If you have quit smoking before the age 50, you have halved the risk of dying in the next 15 years compared to continuing smokers.

 Smoking-related deaths in the United States amount to 440,000 every year.  Most people that start smoking say they wish the would have never started.  Smoking causes deaths in families. People don’t need to lose family. It happens to a family everyday.
