COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

SCIENCE COURSE DESCRIPTIONS Earth Science Covers the following topics: Earth’s role in space, how processes and forces affect the lithosphere, the structure and processes within the hydroshere, patterns of global change etc. Biology Investigates cells and organelles both in structure and functions. Living organisms and their environments are studied and evaluated. Covers evolution through natural selection and how DNA affects the alleles and genetic traits.

ELECTIVES (EXAMPLES) Team Sports I Sports taught will include floor hockey, basketball, volleyball, flag football, and various team sports. You will learn basic offensive and defensive strategies, play making, rules, and team work. Spanish I This course will offer an introduction to the Spanish language: including sound system, pronunciation, functional vocabulary, cultural information and basic grammatical structures.
