 San Francisco Match/Central Application Service (CAS) › www. SFMatch.org  Deadlines › Aug 25-Sept 1 › Rank Order List 1/8/8-1/14/9 › Match notification 1/15/8-1/21/9  Cost › $100 no limit on number of programs

 Urology Match ›  Deadline › Aug 25-Sept 1 › Rank Order List 1/5/09 › Match notification 1/26/09  Cost › $75 no limit on number of programs

 Transcript transmission fee $50 no limit on number of programs.  4-step process in ERAS: › Enter USMLE ID under the "Account" - "Profile" tab. › Authorize release of transcript under the "Documents" - "USMLE Transcript" tab. › Decide if you want automatic retransmission of your transcripts available under the "Documents" - "USMLE Transcripts" tab. › Assign transcripts to programs under the "Programs" Tab.

 Once you select this option, it is permanent and CANNOT be changed  You forego right to see any newly included score(s) before transcript is sent to programs.  If you are unsure, do not select automatic retransmission.  Updated transcript can be sent later

 ERAS photograph must be › In color › Show full front view of head and shoulders › Plain or light colored background › Measure 2 ½ X 3 ½ and not more than 3X4  Rush Photo group cost is $35

 Who have you worked with?  Who knows your clinical work?  Most programs want 3 letters  ERAS letters sent to OMSP with cover form and scanned into your application  SF and Urology application services request letters in sealed envelope  Target date for all letters uploaded to ERAS is 10/15/7

 Transcripts uploaded to ERAS 10/1/8  Deadline for grades to be received by OMSP 9/15/8 › No grades will be hand entered  Early match requests their transcripts from registrar to be sent with application materials.

 Most interviews between Nov 1 and Jan 31  20 interviews is about max, 25 would be Herculean, 30 would be lethal  NO time off for interviews during › SubInternship › Neurology  Max 2 days off during other clerkships at the director’s discretion (they may say no!)  Make time in your schedule for interviews  Do not take Step 2 CK or CS during interviews

 Know your application materials  Do not leave out information  If your record has a blemish › Be honest, acknowledge issue › Discuss what you learned or how you changed › Be brief!  Practice/mock interviews
