Context & Background Low-uptake of NHS funded sight tests in Leeds Individuals presenting at clinics with late stages of glaucoma Lack of optical provision in Chapeltown High BME population in Chapeltown

What we did: Increasing awareness within specific communities – West Indian Carnival Glaucoma Awareness Week in Chapeltown – educating the community (free sight tests for everyone) Community eye health training sessions for front line staff Library project set-up
