 Football team vs Competition team  Spring tryout=football and camp  Fall tryout= competition team/basketball  Helps us allow for more girls to get the experience (ie girls in fall sports can still do comeptition or for transfer students)  Helps keep dancers motivated and working towards the competition season

 Season lasts 10 months  Start practices in May (Week of May 5th first practices)  UDA Camp July 7-10 at Wheaton College  August-October Football Season  IHSA Competition season November- end of January  Basketball- November- February  Break- March

 Football vs. Basketball › Will practice technique and condition together through this summer › Practices are run separately in order to share the dance room › Practices added during Competition season (this includes Friday and Saturday practices when needed)

 JV will perform at all home sophomore football games and basketball games.  Varsity will perform at all home football and basketball varsity games- pregame and halftime

 IHSA- can have 28 on roster- can floor no more then 24  Always have to have a backup in case of injury/sickness/emergency  Alternates have the toughest job because they have to know every single person’s part.  Can always change- will have tryouts throughout the year for both teams  Alternates are competition only- not game unless we are running a competition piece

 New members- cost is higher  Camp fee $350 › Dance shoes- 2 pairs and dance sneakers › Camp clothes- 3 outfits one per each day of camp › Duffle bag &garment bag › Hair bows › Socks › Personalized warm-ups › Use these items all year, and the girls keep them › Roughly around 1,500 dollars to start off
