Chairperson Nominations? To Chair LFN meetings starting from the next meeting. To have the final and casting vote on any voting topics. The chair is trusted to use this role to benefit the whole group. A chair is there to make it easier for the whole group to reach its goals; not to direct what those goals should be. The chair is in a position to have an overview, this means that they can think more clearly about the arguments and issues. CF to facilitate and continue to arrange meetings and produce minutes.

Football Development Plan Each LFN will have a football development plan that links to the County plan. Inline with county plan planning cycles July – June. Highlight ‘We Wills’ and align responsibility. Highlight strategic prioritise Attract investment Reviewed quarterly Reflective of National Game Strategy Growth and Retention, Better Players, Raising Standards, Running the Game, Workforce, Facilities and Investment, What does this look like for North East Lincolnshire?

Growth and Retention Implement the Youth Development Review Club support – pitches, squads and implementation League support – consultation; Gradely 9v9 pitches. Support transition from youth to open age football. Sharing of club contacts Promotion of open age league opportunities Develop School Club links across North East Lincolnshire Through SSP network – Link clubs and schools – School Games Club Links funding – “Join our Club” “Girls and Goals” LFN to promote opportunity and access to clubs. Offer alternative formats and link to “mainstream” football Small Sided Football Summer Football Futsal Highlight those clubs at risk

Raising Standards Provide in-service training Coaches Referees Administrators Increase the % of football played in a CS club Leagues to nominate proactive clubs. LFN’s to support CS applications. Match Day Club Visits; team of CFA club ‘assessors’ Work around RESPECT promotion, general club behaviour and CS. RESPECT All Clubs/leagues/referees to receive information annually Local organisations nominated for RESPECT awards, now open; nominate through our website. Nominated League to work towards CS league status

Better Players LFN to highlight coach education need Strategic approach Could courses be run through leagues? Increase % of Youth coaches with a L1CCF League Coaches In-service CPD Promote the LFA bursary scheme (re-imbursement to clubs through cash-back). Support the roll out of the FA Skills Coach programme in Lincolnshire. (July onwards – priority areas (5-11yrs)).
