Influenced by Early Jobs and Studies Made posters, worked on stage sets & painted signs for a movie theatres Went to Junior college in the 1940s Worked at Walt Disney Studios on Pinocchio and Goofy animations one summer, making $14 a week Served in the army as an artist and cartoonist from Later worked as a cartoonist and designer in CA and in NY as a commercial artist and illustrator At age 29 went back to college for degrees in Art, Art History, and Education Began teaching college students, and worked on becoming a serious painter in the early 1950s

First Exhibition In 1962 he sold his first paintings at Allan Stone’s gallery in New York.
