Presidents’ Report Mission: To create and foster opportunities that enrich and support our children, school and community. Goals: 1.Expand and maintain our volunteer base and offer meaningful volunteer opportunities to individuals and families within our community. 2.Support Grand Ridge students, staff, and parents through purposeful fundraising, volunteering and advocacy. 3.Create and sponsor experiences that encourage broader social connection and cultural awareness within an environment of respect and kindness. 4.Enrich the education of our students in art, literacy, health and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) through volunteers and financial support. 5.Promote, attain, and support 100% PTSA membership. 6.Maintain effective lines of communication within our school and community. 7.Advocate effectively for the education, health, and safety of our children, in partnership with other members of our community.

Nominating Committee Article 5, Section 5 of the WSPTA Uniform Bylaws require the formation of a Nominating Committee. The duties of the committee include submitting to membership a signed, written report at least 15 days prior to the next BOD election of the name of one or more candidates for each office to be filled. Qualifications for Candidates Committee shall consist of at least 3 members elected at a General Membership Meeting. Members of the committee shall have been members in good standing for at least 30 days preceding the election. No member shall serve more than 2 consecutive years. Neither the president or school principal is eligible to serve. Only members of the local unit shall be eligible to vote for or serve on the committee.
