Vision To develop and unify a strong community of women at Fuqua and empower them to succeed and lead in the business world Mission We are a club dedicated to providing leadership and development opportunities for the women of Fuqua. Our goal is to create programming focused on career and leadership development, on raising awareness of the unique issues and challenges facing women in the workplace, and on enacting change and making an impact within communities.

Alumnae Cabinet Director: Tiffany Mitsui Collaborate with Fuqua’s Alumni Office to identify prominent alumnae to invite to various events Responsible for logistics surrounding visiting alumnae

Alumnae FY Cabinet Position One Position Oversee logistics (travel arrangements, assembling information packets, etc.) after alumnae speakers and attendees have been secured for specific events Aid in the selection of alumnae to invite to each event Great opportunity to network with fellow Fuquans! Time commitment varies and is heavier leading up to major events

Career Development Cabinet Directors: Hadas Avnery & Alison Poole Support focused & effective job search and preparation (resume, cover letters, FTF interview preparation) Organize company events for AWIB members Create opportunities to share industry experiences Provide career success tools Our First Roadmap Session- Introduction to Recruiting Friday, 4:30pm, Rand

Career Development FY Cabinet Positions Four Positions Plan career events for FY and SY AWIB members, working directly with recruiting staff at major firms, including JP Morgan, Nissan, BCG, and many others. Responsibilities will include: - Making logistical arrangements for events such as coordinating RSVPs, room arrangements, and ongoing correspondence with recruiters. - Attending the events, presenting the recruiters. Create ways to support Fuqua women in their career search. Time commitment will be heaviest in the Fall terms.

Communications Cabinet Director: Lori Wallace Keep AWIB connected with the Fuqua community Work with all Cabinet sub-teams to creatively market AWIB events Build the AWIB Brand Review and improve communications strategy

Communications FY Cabinet Positions Two Positions Positions are “cross-functional” and will involve working with all parts of the cabinet Experience with creating digital logos, designs and layouts is a plus Responsibilities may include the newsletter, website, social media, and producing creative advertisements to market events as well as contributing to marketing and awareness strategy.

Finance Cabinet Director: Carolyn Ford Undergrad: Duke Pre-Business School: Teach For America, Non-Profit Internship: Consulting

Finance FY Cabinet Position One Position Assist in overseeing annual AWIB budget Support management of AWIB finances, including payments, expense reimbursements, etc. Interact with students and treasury Time Commitment: hours/week

Community Outreach & Social Cabinet Directors: Jennifer Chin & Alicia Hummel What We Do: Create opportunities for women in business across Fuqua and Duke to connect with and support each other Empower the next generation of women leaders throughmentorship activities in Durham public schools and with Duke Undergraduates Our Events: 09/20 - AWIB Cocktail Hour 10/01 - Little Ladies Luncheon 10/14 - Breast Cancer Awareness Walk 10/27 - AWIB Cocktail Hour 11/08 - Triangle Women Leaders Round Table 11/15 - UNC-Duke Mixer 12/01 - Undergraduate Mentorship Panel

Community Outreach & Social FY Cabinet Positions Positions : Two Role : These outgoing individuals will be responsible for helping to plan and execute impactful events that strengthen ties within AWIB and that give back to the community This role includes significant interaction with students from UNC, Fuqua MMS, Durham Public Schools and other clubs. Approximate time commitment: 2-3 hours per week Time commitment is distributed throughout Fall and Spring terms, with commitment being heavier before and on event days.

Women’s Leadership Events – FY Cabinet Positions Marketing Coordinator (2 positions) Key Responsibilities: market and promote all women’s leadership events Time commitment: 1-3 hours/week all year – heaviest in Spring Leading Women Coordinators (2 positions) Key Responsibilities: identify speakers, coordinate logistics and lead discussion for one Leading Women event Time commitment: 2-4 hours/week in term of your event (either Fall or Spring) Women’s Leadership Conference Coordinator (3 positions) Key Responsibilities: Content/Programming: develop content ideas for sessions and panels, serve as point of contact for speakers Alumni relations: engage appropriate alums as speakers, panelists, and attendees at the conference Logistics and volunteers: recruiting and training conference volunteers, coordinating logistics Time commitment: 1-2 hours/week in Fall; 3-6 hours/week in Spring
