Katelyn Sellers Katelyn is the Lead for the State Plan of Work and Annual Report process as well as the business lead for the REEport system management and development. She also leads the Multistate Research Fund. Katelyn supports the planning, development, coordination, and delivery of accountability and financial reporting from agency information systems. POW Panel of Experts Update NIFA’s official response has been posted to our website: As with any major change to software, it will take some time, but we are focusing on what we can do short term that does not require actual system development work.

POW & REEport Integration Update NIFA close to completing 120-day front- and back- end assessment REEport performance greatly improved internally; next step is to extend to external-to-NIFA users. KA-SOI subgroup kicking off in next couple weeks NIFA will soon make decision on suspending POW requirement next year

FY15 Financial Reporting Self-service functionality is running smoothly; a lot less time wasted with back and forth validation between LGUs and NIFA (Adam Preuter) Reminder: FY15 expenditures for both capacity and competitive Projects must be reported this year. We are updating the Financial Manual to be clearer for competitive grantees at non-Land Grants.

Director’s Reports NIFA will deploy similar functionality in its Data Gateway/Enterprise Search –Targeted for mid-April –Will be linked in REEport –Will provide all expenditure data, exportable, some manual manipulation required –NIFA will provide instructions to recreate Director’s reports structure

Forestry Percentage Reinstated field on Project Initiations –On the classification screen –All McIntire Stennis projects automatic 100% –All other projects (e.g. Hatch, Evans-Allen) must enter a number Will be deployed March 11 Follow on efforts to “backfill” the percentage in the summer and fall of 2016.
