 1)State Your Thesis  Your thesis statement should be written down in one sentence.  Your thesis statement should be a declaration of what you set out to prove.  The rest of your paper should consist of information or arguments to support your thesis. Writing a Research Paper

 1)Make a Tentative Outline  An outline should help you think through your topic carefully and organize it logically before writing.  Use your outline to make sure that your points flow logically from one to the next.  Must at least have and Introduction, Body, and Conclusion.  1)Type Your Final Draft  Make sure you are completing each aspect of what is expected for the paper.  Proofread your final paper carefully for spelling, punctuation, missing or duplicated words.  Make every effort to make sure your paper is clean, neat, and attractive.
