Science Textbooks Students will keep these at home this year They will return them at the end of the year Lost book = replacement fee Accessing the online textbook From the Gold River site, go to “Students and Families” and click on “Online Textbook Virtual Locker” Scroll down and the username, password and web address are listed for you to access both textbooks

Discipline Policy My goal is to be fair and consistent at all times to my very best ability. Generally I will speak one on one with a student at the end of class. This typically improves the behavior. If the behavior continues a student will go home with a Behavior Information Contract to improve behavior. If the behavior continues, a more formal notice is given to the Vice Principal.

Conferences/Absences November conferences will be held on an individual basis during “conference week” for students receiving C- or below If you feel the need to meet earlier, please have your child fill out a Student Led Conference Form so that I can schedule a meeting (on my website) Absences due to illness/personal Parents need to call our attendance hotline The student needs to call a study buddy and refer to student planner
