3 Next Generation Communications | International Organizations Nuno Encarnação, OFCOM, TC.FG, introduction The present document is in the context of the OFCOM NGN study The goal is to have an overview of international organizations, their groups and subgroups, most relevant for regulatory and technical environment of future communications infrastructures, networks, services, excluding media aspects, typically ruled by TV and radio law There are many other organizations, often industry driven, but their input, before impacting the regulatory environment, go typically through the organizations cited in this document
