Is good spelling important? Yes! Why? If your spelling is not good, the person reading your writing might think that you are not smart, or lazy! jjgh hgg hh

Do you always need to have good spelling? No Sometimes you don’t have to have good spelling.

Look at these. Do you have to have good spelling. Answer yes or no. 1 A message to your husband? 2 A birthday card to your friend? 3 A note to your teacher? 4 A letter to your cousin? 5 An to your boss? 6 A letter to the editor of a newspaper? 7 A writing assessment? No Yes

How can you get better at spelling?

1.Practise at home There are many ways. You can try Look Think Cover Write Check or Write the word many times. beautiful beautiful

2. Learn the rules English spelling has many rules. For example study → studies stop → stopping i before e except after c niece field lie receipt deceive Borrow a spelling book from the library to help you.

3. Try to spell the word on a piece of paper. Remember each syllable has a vowel sound. Check your dictionary to see if the word is right.

4. Is the word similar to another word you already know? For example, if you can spell Parramatta, Cabramatta is nearly the same. light night fight might – only the first letter changes

5.Play spelling games. Playing spelling games is a fun way to help you improve your spelling. nrai rain swon snow You can play spelling games on paper and there are many on the internet.

6. Read and read and read! Reading for pleasure helps you with many things including spelling. Reading for pleasure is the easiest way to get better at spelling!

Also, check your writing carefully for mistakes. Some mistakes are silly mistakes. You make them when you write quickly. I have tow children. Where doe you live? Some words are very difficult, so you should check in your dictionary. The obnoxios child was always rude to adolts.

Not everyone is good at spelling yet, but everyone can be good at checking!

Remember! Spelling in English is not easy. You must practise and work hard to get better. It is your responsibility! Always check your writing carefully.
