 VoiceThread is a web- based application that allows users to create a shared presentation as a media album.  Users can make comments via voice, text, or video.  VoiceThreads can be shared on the VoiceThread site or embedded into blogs and other sites.  Export to a hard drive, DVD, video MP3 player, or cell phone.  VoiceThread allows an entire group conversation to be collected from anywhere in the world with playback in one place.

 About 90% of VoiceThreads are from the education market.  K-12 and Higher Education  Most use free accounts.  Some universities such as UNC, Duke, Gallaudet have added VoiceThread to their technology infrastructures.  Great for group projects or collaboration with students at various schools.
