Unicef was created by the United Nations General Assembly on December, 11 of To provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by the World War II.

Unicef is the world’s leading organization for children and child rights. Works in more than 190 countries with families, local communities, business partners and goverments, to help every child reach their full potential.

Unicef ​​ priorities are based on the rights of children, basic quality of life,provide care and education to children of all nations. Unicef´s priorities.

Objectives To reduce HIV transmission and to reduce the impact of the epidemic on children, young people and families.

Facts about Unicef 1.Unicef procures vaccines for 40% of the world’s children, nearly 3 billion doses annually.

2. Over 12 million children went back to school in 2006 with the support of Unicef educational supplies.
