1 UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund) Purpose: It was created in December 1946 to help provide relief and support to children living in countries devastated by war. Topics in CancunMun Topic A- Preventing child mortality through immunization. Topic B- Equitable access to education for children with disabilities.  Interesting Fact: Unicef procures vaccines for 40% of the world’s children, nearly 3 billion doses annually.

2 CCPCJ:  Commission of Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.  The purpose of the CCPCJ is to prevent crime on a global scale, and to stop/prevent chaos; as well as to try criminals in the court of law.  The CCPCJ was created in 1992, after the General Assembly requested them, to help deal with the crime levels. Topics:  Topic A: Capture policy on ISIS insurgents, and their preceding trial.  Topic B: Control over biological weaponry.

Topic: Groundwater It has become most famous for its task of designating World Heritage Sites. These are places (both natural and manmade) that have been deemed to be culturally significant as part of our human heritage. It contains the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Taj Mahal.

8 WHO World Health Organization Purpose– Organize health facilities in countries by providing resources. Interesting fact– World Health Day is the 7th of April. Topics (Cancun MUN)– Prevention of the Consumption of Tobacco and Human Rights Violation in Mental Health Institutions.

9 Purspose: The purpose of DISEC is to prevent future wars, to prevent the business of trading weapons and to disarm countries that are not allowed to have nuclear or weapons of massive destruction. Interesting Fact: DISEC was the first committe of the G.A and one of the mains. CUNMUN TOPICS: A-Dismantelament of nuclear and weapons of massive destruction.
