Classroom Rules for Technology I will practice safe, legal, and responsible use of information and technology. I will not give away personal information on the Internet. I will respect the privacy of others. I will use the web responsibly and will give credit to others for their creations. I will exhibit a positive attitude toward using technology that supports collaboration, learning, and productivity. I will work with others in the class and around the world with a spirit of cooperation. I will use the Internet primarily for learning in the classroom. I will be a good steward of my time and use the computer efficiently during class time. I will demonstrate personal responsibility for lifelong learning. I will use the Internet to locate information I need for school projects and personal questions. I will develop a sense of independent learning and problem solving through the use of technology. I will exhibit leadership for digital citizenship. I will not use the Internet for bullying others. I will not use the computer to create products that would offend my classmates, my teachers, or my community. I will use the computer and its communication tools to create global conversations with students from other places.
