Major Achievements Con. Modality of work with Community Development Counsel (CDCs) & District Development Authority (DDAs) in the implementation of WASH programme has been developed. CDCs has the women’s/men’s sanitary latrine production centres in some of the villages, supported by UNICEF in partnership with MRRD.

Lessons Learned The CDCs are one of the best community - based structures which most Government development activities are implemented Project implementation through CDCs proved to be very effective, as it gives ownership to the communities and makes them accountable.
