Habitat: Lives in forests, deserts and grasslands Habitat has lots of trees, dirt, sand, grass, water, logs and twigs Lives in some cities Can find rabbits in fields, swamps, marches, woods, parks, big cities and farms Lives in North America

Description Are white, brown, black, gray About 1 foot Weighs about 2 or 3 pounds Has big ears, short fluffy tails, and are fluffy all over Fur blends in with surroundings

Adaptation: Camouflage Big feet help get away from prey Big ears help hear from all directions Big eyes help them see prey from behind, sides and front Keen sense of smell to smell food and prey

Food chain It’s a herbivore Foxes, owls, coyotes, weasels, and lynx eat rabbits In fall they eat leaves, clover, flowers, grass Eat plants In winter eats buds, twigs, bark Eat clover instead of carrots
