Part C – in MLA format (total 3 paragraphs) Open Read the article. Open a Word document and entitle it “Ghyslain’s Story: A Canadian Teenager”. Write a brief summary of what happened to this boy, and how it affected his life. Limit 8-10 sentences. THEN Locate the information on J. Guidetti, principal of Calabasas High School in California. Make a subtitle on your page called “School Scandals”. Under this heading give an explanation of: 1.what the problem was, 2.who was creating the problem, 3.how the town helped to solve it. (10-12 sentences) THEN Find a news article that is recent that showcases cyberbullying in some way. A good resource would be the Chronicle Herald. Add a section to your word document that gives me the link to this article, and a summary of the article. "Who What Where When". (10 to 12 sentences) Save the word document as cyberbullying to your number.

Part D, E and F – Project Due Friday! Part D Open the web link Skip to the section entitled “Cyber-Bullying Victims and Perpetrators”. There are 4 big statistics in this section. Add another slide to your PowerPoint Presentation called “Statistics”. Cut and paste these 4 stats to your 13th slide. Scroll back up the page and follow the link “Cyber-Bully Internet Bully Solutions”. Watch the video “Cyber- Bullying Survival Guide”. Open a new Word Document and title it“Video Review: Cyber-Bullying Survival Guide”. Copy and paste the following questions to the document, and fill in FULL SENTENCE answers for each one, then send the document to me. Be sure it is in MLA format. A. The lady in the video, Margaret Ross, has a great definition for Cyber-Bullying. What is her definition? B. What are her 4 “Bully Buster Priorities’? (Hint: 2 don’ts and 2 do’s) C. What are her top 5 Cyber-Bully blocking tips for parents? Part E: Why Do You Think People Cyberbully? Take a few minutes and think about this questions. In your Word document from above, label a new section labeled Reflections, answer the question in a full, well written paragraph. This is just another use for your brainstorm. Using what you have learned, finish the KWL chart. You must include 5 points that you have learned. Part F: Sum It Up In your PowerPoint, include the summary of the article you found in part C. Slide 14 Include a slide that summarizes the video you watched in Part D. Slide 15http://kamaron.org/Cyber-BullyingCyber-Bully Internet Bully Solutions”.
