Egypt By Margaret and Frances

 Location  Egypt is found on the continent Africa.  Egypt is bordered by Lybia and Sundan.  The capital city is Cairo,some of the other cities are Luxsor,Siwa.  The latitude and longitude of Cairo is 31 degrees North and 30 degrees East.  One of the disadvantages is stand storms can strike at any time.

Government F The President is Mohamed Mubarak and the Prime Minister is Ahmed Nazif. F People in Egypt vote for government officials. F The President makes the laws. F Some of the different political parties are the National Democratic Party, Tomorrow Party and the National Progressive Unionist Grouping. F The country is divided into 26 different governorates.

Economy )Some of the major exports are crude oil, cotton,metal produts e,t,c. )Some of they major exports are feuls, wood produts,and food stuff. )One of there natural resources are natural gas. )The local money is called pounds.1 Amercian dollar is worth 6 egyption pounds.

People and Culture  Some of they different religions are Islam, Coptic, Christian.  Three of the different languages are: Arabic, English, French.  One of their national holidays is Revalution day 23 July  The Egyptians enjoy having picnics, swimming, and boating.
