Build awareness on TDM to gauge interest and scout champions –Identify stakeholders: Senior Management Staff from other departments/division to build synergy Councillors/politicians Partners/Stakeholders – e.g. federal government, province, neighbouring municipalities, institution, private sector, NGOs & interest groups Identify a catalyst to move TDM forward –Funding opportunity (e.g. FCM, Transport Canada, etc.) –Develop a pilot project –Stakeholders who can be champions Politician Company or Institution Organize workshop/forum to engage stakeholder participation
