Define process to audit project savings. Lead finance participation in project selection and review processes. Human Resource Functional Champion Function as a single point of contact for all Six Sigma Human Resource Issues. Work with leadership to determine how reward and recognition will be handled with regard to Six Sigma successes. Act as a liaison to integrate Black Belt selection with the Talent Management process.

21 © 2002-2003 Six Sigma Academy20 Roles & Responsibilities – Functional Champions Training Functional Champion Establish training logistics and schedules for all participants Provide supplemental training opportunities for Black and Green Belts Manage revision control and upgrades of training materials Communications Functional Champion Ensure consistent messages are delivered on Why and How we are implementing Six Sigma Publicize team project successes Create a consistent external communications plan in accordance with timing provided by management

Work with Black Belt teams to pull information from Information systems to support the DMAIC process. Assist Black Belt teams in assessing the accuracy of the measure systems identified to track process performance. Data Must Drive Our Decision Making

All project savings calculations were done using Six Sigma standards. The assumptions made in the calculations are appropriate. Work with the Black Belt team’s to increase their understanding of financial savings. Realistic Projections and Consistent Calculations
