4 Lev Vygotsky Biographical Information  Born in Orsha  Attended Moscow State University,  Graduated with a degree in law in 1917.  Taught in Gomel  Formal work in psychology did not begin until 1924 when he attended the Institute of Psychology in Moscow  Died of tuberculosis in 1934
