16 Slate for 2016 Board Positions 16 PositionRoleNominees PresidentFacilitates the overall functioning of the Chapter, and is dedicated to achieving the Chapter vision, mission, and objectives as detailed in the Chapter Charter. Debbie Saucke CertificationResponsible for assigning and tracking PDUs, as well as assisting members with obtaining and maintaining certification. Carla Sives CommunicationsResponsible for disseminating information both to and from Chapter membership, and includes handling the publicity of the local Chapter through internal and external publications and through partnering with local businesses. Rick Sutphin Corporate Records This position is in charge of all matters relating to maintaining the chapter as an independent corporation registered in the State of New York and shall keep a repository of all annual business meeting and other records relating to incorporation. Pat Shannon Director at LargeThis position is a learning position and also served as a voting member on the board who attends meetings, assists where needed but has no assigned responsibilities. Pat Shannon FinanceResponsible for maintaining the Chapter's financial records, goals & objectives as well as preparing the necessary New York State Tax forms, insurance forms, and annual financial plan/budget. Lee Ellen Hollenbeck Information Technology Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of information technology, including updating and maintaining chapter web site. Rob Bryla Membership/ Publicity Responsible for developing and maintaining the Chapter membership plan to assure the growth through recruitment and partnering with major Binghamton-area employers. The position also includes publicity of the local Chapter and PMI to internal and external publications and through partnering with local organizations. Sumantra Sarkar Professional Development Responsible for promoting Project Management Professionalism through the development of educational publications, seminars, and workshops designed to help project management professionals achieve certification. Barb Waters ProgramsResponsible for the development and delivery of programs related to Project Management for each scheduled Chapter meeting. Pending
