14 Slate for 2015 Board Positions 14 PositionRoleNominees PresidentHandling the overall functioning of the Chapter, and is dedicated to achieving the Chapter vision, mission, and objectives as detailed in the Chapter Charter. CertificationThis position is responsible for assigning and tracking PDUs, as well as assisting members with obtaining and maintaining certification. John Clark CommunicationsThis position is currently handling the responsibility for disseminating information both to and from Chapter membership, and includes handling the publicity of the local Chapter through internal and external publications and through partnering with local businesses. Debra Saucke Corporate RecordsThis position is in charge of all matters relating to maintaining the chapter as an independent corporation registered in the State of New York and shall keep a repository of all annual business meeting and other records relating to incorporation. Director at LargeThis position is a learning position and also served as a voting member on the board who attends meetings, assists where needed but has no assigned responsibilities. FinanceThis position is responsible for maintaining the Chapter's financial records, goals & objectives as well as preparing the necessary New York State Tax forms, insurance forms, and annual financial plan/budget. Lee Ellen Hollenbeck Information Technology This position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of information technology, including updating and maintaining chapter web site. Rob Bryla Membership/ Publicity Currently responsible for developing and maintaining the Chapter membership plan to assure the growth through recruitment and partnering with major Binghamton-area employers. The position also includes publicity of the local Chapter and PMI to internal and external publications and through partnering with local organizations. Professional Development This position is responsible for promoting Project Management Professionalism through the development of educational publications, seminars, and workshops designed to help project management professionals achieve certification. ProgramsThis position is responsible for the development and delivery of programs related to Project Management for each scheduled Chapter meeting. Anthony Olenik

27 2014 Accomplishments President – Tina J Fleury, PMP Updated PMI Records to reflect the 2014 Board. Completed the Chapter Renewal & Strategic Assessment for 2014 Scheduled & held the Chapter’s 1 st PD Day! Submitted the 990-E 2013 Tax form. Updated Chapter By Laws Kept the Chapter viable. Communications – Debbie Saucke, PMP Maintained distribution lists. Created and issued Chapter communications in a timely manner. Kept Facebook and LinkedIn up to date. Developed an attendee satisfaction survey for chapter meetings. Assisted President with covering other Officers’ duties when absent. 27

28 2014 Accomplishments Certification – John Clark, PMP Developed and maintained a tracking spreadsheet for Board Meeting and Chapter Meeting attendance and earned PDUs. Prepared and conducted PDU Categories and Policies Presentation at the April Chapter meeting. PDU certificates issued for the Oct Board Meeting and the Chapter Professional Development Day. PDD conducted on 10 Oct. Completed Photo and Contact release documents attached for archive. Photos from event are available and have been loaded to Shutterfly. Submitted the PDD Day event for PDU approval by PMI. PMI approval received. 28

Finance – Lee Hollenbeck, PMP Coordinated & Maintained Attendance Incentive Program at all Chapter Meetings. Created 2014 Budget & Obtained Board's approval. Maintained & Supported 2014 Budget. Established & Maintained PayPal account for Chapter. 30

31 2014 Accomplishments Information Technology – Rob Bryla Maintained current Web site. Worked with Board to post documents to Web site as needed. Membership, Publicity – Karl Sears, PMP Generated a potential Membership list from PMIs database. Worked with the Communications Officer to clean up the current Distribution database. Worked with the IT and Communications Officers to ensure we meet the Roeder Training requirements. 31

32 2014 Accomplishments Professional Development – Barbara Waters, PMP Assisted Members in obtaining their PMP Certification. Lead subcommittee to develop the Chapter’s first Professional Development Day Programs – Anthony Olenik, PMP Booked majority of event speakers at little or no cost to PMI Binghamton in 2014. Setup several meeting venues and logistics. Supported Professional Development Day subcommittee. 32
