1 Terminal Services Unblock MacID Room Profiles

2 Connect and Disconnect 1.Select the icon in Client Connection Manager.

3 2. In the TS login window, select the session. Note that if there is more than one relay on the server, the relays are listed in the icon name in the order in which they appear in the Terminal Services login. Only one person can be logged in to a relay at a time. If an expected Session is missing, someone else may be using it. Candidates are: Dick, Ratko, Ken, Moe.

4 You get something like this. Do whatever (see later). To DISCONNECT, click the Terminal Services Red X (see 6). Do NOT accidentally click the hotComm X or you’ll close a room or the entire relay.

5 And then click OK.

6 Get Mac ID 1. Customer joins Support with hotComm client on computer that is blocked 2. Support rep verifies that license is OK Then 0. Open Relay (the one Support is on) with Terminal Services 1.Open the Support session, which is probably minimized on the right 2.Right click the Customer's name 3.Select Check User Info 4.Write down MAC ID 5.Minimize Support session 6.Disconnect from Terminal Services See screenshot following.

8 Unblock Mac ID 0. Open blocked relay with Terminal Services 1. Right-click hotComm icon in lower right-corner of window 2. Select Manage Block List 3.Find MAC ID, highlight it, select Remove, then OK 4. Disconnect from Terminal Services 5. Tell customer to close hotComm, wait 20 seconds, try again. See following screen shot.

10 Room Profiles 0. Do not do ANYTHING without a ROOM REQUEST. 1. Decide what server to put it on. [Long story, told separately.] 2. Open relay with Terminal Services 3. In S1, create the new room (Note: WORK IN SESSION 1 ONLY) - Select File, then Add Room/CRM - Enter email address of room license holder OR for CL moderated rooms, enter: roomname@hotcomm.com - Change Display name to the room name 4. In S1, right-click the room name in the All Users List and select Profile. - Edit Profile [Long story, told separately.] 5. Close relay with Terminal Services 6. Test the room - can you connect with the passwords you set? 7. Respond *DONE* to the Room Request.

13 Enter Room in Database Last, but not least: Enter room info into Relaylist database Generate and post HTML page versions of the query.
