6 Class Schedules 2014-2015 Each day, your child will rotate though 2 classrooms and will receive instruction in: Language Arts and Science of half their day-Carpenter, Kennedy Math and Social Studies for the other half of the day- Morales, Sison-Buenaventura

7 Fine Arts Schedules 2014-2015 Our Fine Arts day is every Thursday.

15 Camp Marston November 3 rd- 7 th (Monday-Friday) Cost/ Payments: approximately $280, No child will be denied the opportunity to attend based on financial need ISA (Individual Student Account) and Fundraising Informational Meeting: Thursday, July 31 st from 8:30-9:30 a.m., 6:00-7:00 p.m. Camp Marston website

16 Student Progress Daily and Weekly Communication:  Planners should be signed every night. M-F Planners will be used communicate behavior as they arise Clip Chart will be used to monitor behavior Conferences start September 11 th

17 Wellness Policy  Discovery School implements the District’s Wellness Policy to promote healthy eating habits and fitness  Please send healthy snacks and meals - fruits, vegetables, cheese, etc.  Birthday and holiday celebrations should be celebrated at home.

18 Field Trips CCSS aligned field trips. Some funding provided. Behavior will be considered. Parents are encouraged to volunteer. No child will be denied the opportunity to attend a field trip for lack of funds.
