7 Student Expectations Be courteous to all No food or drink is permitted in the classroom (except for bottled water) Arrive on time and prepared for each class with your  Notebook  Textbook  Pens/pencils Arrive to class in full uniform Electronic Devices must be used responsibly and appropriately and only when directed by your teachers (FYI texting doesn't’t count as appropriate use)

8 Student Absenteeism: Tests If you are absent on the day of a test you must bring a note from your parents/guardian or doctor when you return. You must be prepared to write the test when you return If you don’t bring a note explaining your absence, you will be given a ZERO for the missed test.

9 Student Absenteeism: Assignments It is your responsibility to make up missed work due to absence and to complete all class work and submit all unit assignments via email on the expected due date. This is to prove that you has the work done on time. When you return, you MUST hand in a paper copy of the unit assignment.

10 Other Expectations Assignments are due at the beginning of class unless otherwise advised by the teacher Textbooks will be distributed at the beginning of the year. It is the student’s responsibility to replace the cost of the textbook should the textbook be lost, stolen or damaged in anyway. Most Culminating Tasks will be completed in-class. Class time will be allocated for this. Plagiarism in any form will not be tolerated

11 Homework 1. Print the “Course Overivew” from our class website, review it with your parent(s)/guardian(s) and return a signed copy for tomorrow
