1 1 Moving License Entitlements Prior to or After Activation Audience: Business Partners and Avaya Module Scope: The process of how to move license entitlements between Functional Locations (FL’s)/Groups in PLDS.

Moving Entitlements  The Move Entitlements function allows you to select one or more entitlements and then select a group to assign to those entitlements.  The selected entitlements must belong to the same company.  PLDS moves entitlements for both the selected entitlements and:  Any entitlements linked to those entitlements  Any entitlements in the same entitlement kit as the selected entitlements

3 3 © 2009 Avaya Inc. All rights reserved. Moving Entitlements You may use the navigation on the left hand side of the screen, or the one on the lower portion of the screen to access the same types of activities in the tool. Select Assets and then View Entitlements

4 4 © 2009 Avaya Inc. All rights reserved. Moving Entitlements Use an % (percentage sign as a wildcard) if you do not know the exact or complete spelling of the end customers detail. Use the if you have several customers with the same name and this way a separate window will appear where you can first select the correct customer and then come back to search for their specific entitlements. 1.Enter known data in search criteria fields. 2.Click Search Entitlements. TIPS for best search results: Company is the customers parent company name, you may not know how Avaya has this represented as in master data. Therefore, we suggest that you use Group ID: which is the customer Functional Location SAP number, or click Advance Search and enter the SAP order number in the Sales/Contract # field.

5 5 © 2009 Avaya Inc. All rights reserved. Moving Entitlements If many entitlements exist for the customer you may need to scroll to the next pages of possible records. Review/confirm the results Select the appropriate entitlement to act upon.

6 6 © 2009 Avaya Inc. All rights reserved. Moving Entitlements 1.Find and select the appropriate Entitlement to move 2.Click from the Options menu 3.Select Move Entitlement Ensure that all moves are in accordance with Avaya’s move policies and the customers terms and conditions (EULA).

8 8 © 2009 Avaya Inc. All rights reserved. Moving Entitlements Be sure that all SAP records and maintenance/software support contracts are updated accordingly 1.Add clear notes and details related to the move and why it was performed in the event of an audit 2.Click Finish
