A student access code (provided by your teacher)
The ZIP or other postal code for your school
A Course ID (provided by your teacher)

3. Go To www.PearsonSchool.com/Access
Step 1: Your teacher provided you with a 6-part access code. Here is an example of what an access code looks like: SSNAST-PRINK-STAND-NEAGH-CANTO-LINED. Click on the appropriate link.

4. Click Covered Titles and select Science

5. Click the appropriate title/edition
NOTE: If your textbook is not listed, please have your teacher contact your Pearson sales rep.

6. Choose Student Registration
NOTE: While this presentation uses MasteringBiology as an example, the same process may be followed for any Mastering product for which Pearson provides multi-year access.

7. Read the Privacy Policy and License Agreement
Click I Accept

8. Create a Login Name and Password Confirm Password.
Do you have a Pearson Education account?
Select:
No if this is your first Pearson product.
Yes if you have another Pearson Account
Not Sure
Create a Login Name and Password Confirm Password.
Enter your 6-part Access Code HERE
Click Next

9. Enter First Name, Last Name, and Email Address
Enter School Country, Zip Code, School Name
Enter School Country, Zip Code, School Name

10. Select a Security Question and answer it.
Click Next

11. You have successfully registered for Mastering.
CONGRATULATIONS!
You have successfully registered for Mastering.
Click Log In Now

12. If you received a Course ID from your instructor, click Yes, enter your Course ID and click Continue. If you DO NOT have a Course ID, follow the instructions on the NEXT slide.

13. Click No if you DO NOT have a Course ID from your instructor.
(You can join your course later.)
Select your textbook from the drop-down menu and click Continue. Be Sure to Choose the correct edition!

14. Your instructor may provide specific instructions for completing this field. If so, enter the appropriate information and click Continue.
If you are not sure what to enter, contact your instructor or click Skip This Step.
(You can enter your Student ID later.)

15. You are now viewing your MasteringBiology homepage!

16. If you DID NOT enter a Course ID during registration,
your MasteringBiology welcome screen will look like this.
Click Join a Course and enter your Course ID to access your assignments, messages from your instructor, and more.

17. Click Introduction to MasteringBiology to learn how to use the program.

18. Click Welcome!
These items will explain how to navigate in the program, how to submit your answers, and how you can expect to be graded.

Read the question and answer all parts as instructed.

Select self-study resources from the menu on the left

21. Return to www.masteringbiology.com for future login.
Enter your Login Name and Password.
