Welcome to the kickoff of our new ADP Workforce Now® Manager Self Service company Web site! Let me introduce myself. Briefly explain your title and role in the presentation. This exciting site gives you immediate access to your employees’ records and allows you to manage your team's information online. We hope you’ll find this new site helpful and easy to use!

3 What Is Manager Self Service?
Manager Self Service is part of ADP Workforce Now. It provides you with: Direct access to team members’ information A tool for approving team members’ requests The ability to check status for work events Unlimited access: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Access from home or office In most companies, managers with questions about their team members’ time and human resource issues must call the Human Resources department. With the required security rights, you can log on at any time to view or change data for time-off requests, make compensation decisions, and manage skill updates and performance reviews. These are just a few examples of how ADP Workforce Now Manager Self Service can help you. Review the slide contents. Like Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service allows you to check your records from anywhere, including your home or office, at any time.

5 Navigating the Web Site – ADP Workforce Now Home Page
Now let’s look at how to navigate our Web site. This is a sample ADP Workforce Now Home page. Our Home page will be customized with information about our company and links to various documents. Note: Our Web site contents may vary.

6 My Team Menu As a manager, you will see the My Team menu. This menu allows you to access information about your direct reports. Note: Our Web site contents may vary.

7 Reports Menu The Reports menu allows you to access Reports Output, My Team Reports, and My Reports. Note: Our Web site contents may vary.

8 My Team Submenu On the My Team menu, the first submenu is My Team. As a manager, you may be able to view delegated activities, policy status, an organizational chart, and the team calendar. If your company has a different configuration for the My Team submenu, point out the available activities. If your company does not use the Delegation feature, skip the next three slides. 9 Accessing My Team – Policy Status
The next submenu on the My Team menu is Policy Status. Here you can check to see who on your team has or has not yet acknowledged your company policies. You can view and download reports, and you can also generate a notification to those employees that have not yet acknowledged the policies. Note: Our Web site contents may vary.

10 Accessing My Team – Organizational Chart and Team Calendar
ADP Workforce Now contains an Organizational Chart and Team Calendar. The Organizational Chart provides a hierarchical diagram of employees in your company. The Team Calendar can indicate either your peers’ calendars or your team’s calendar. For example, you might want to check if any of your peers are taking a vacation day at the same time you would like to. Or, you might want to check your direct reports’ calendars to verify vacation days or hire dates. Note: Our Web site contents may vary.

11 Accessing My Team – Job Profiles
Let’s view the hire date for a fictional member of your team, Heather Goldstein. Hire dates can be viewed by selecting My Team > Employment > Job Profiles or My Team Employment > Employment Information. We will access her hire date from Job Profiles. Note: Our Web site contents may vary.

12 Accessing My Team – View Team Members
On the Job Profiles page, you see the first person on your team in alphabetical order. You need to switch employees. You click the magnifying glass icon next to the employee’s name to open the Employee Search. You can also use the right and left arrows (just to the left of magnifying glass icon) to go to the next and previous employee. Note: Our Web site contents may vary.

In the Employee Search window, you select Heather Goldstein from the list of your direct reports. Note: Our Web site contents may vary.

14 Accessing My Team – Hire Date
Heather’s hire date is 9/16/2004. You need to send a hire date anniversary card to her personal address. Note: Our Web site contents may vary.

You can view your employees’ Time & Attendance records, such as: Timecards Schedules Reports As a manager, you can perform certain Time & Attendance tasks such as: Correcting timecards Assigning schedules to employees Creating and scheduling Time & Attendance reports Let's explore how to view Time & Attendance information about a team member by using the Web site.

19 Viewing the Time & Attendance Menu
The Time & Attendance submenu displays activities such as Group Labor, Timecards, and Schedules. Note: Our Web site contents may vary.

The Message Center displays your Time & Attendance messages. Note: Our Web site contents may vary.

21 Viewing the Group Labor Page
From the Time & Attendance submenu, you can access the Group Labor page. The Group Labor page contains records of time worked by employees. You can view timecard information by clicking the link for that employee in the Time column. You can also view an employee’s timecard by clicking the Timecard Manager link. 22 Viewing the Schedules Page
From the Time & Attendance submenu, select Schedules to display the work schedules for your group. You can view daily and recurring schedules by selecting the appropriate rows. You can also use these pages to change an employee’s schedule assignments. Note: Our Web site contents may vary.

With a Time & Attendance report, you can: Review timecard errors Check schedule exceptions View daily schedules Check department allocations Check employee overtime

24 Additional Time & Attendance Training
To learn more about performing tasks in Time & Attendance, you can take virtual classes covering the following topics: Scheduling employees’ time Running reports Locating information about employees Your implementation specialist can provide you with enrollment instructions that you can distribute to your managers. Otherwise, you can access instructions by selecting Support Center > Time & Attendance > Training > Enrolling Your Managers in Training. Managers can self-enroll in virtual classes.

25 Your Talent-Related Tasks
You can view and change information about the following aspects of your direct reports’ careers: Assign performance goals to an employee Enter talent information for an employee Review the slide contents.

26 Viewing Employee Development Information
Managers can view employee development information, such as a list of the employee’s education, licenses and certificates completed, and awards won by the employee in a particular category of talent. This page shows the CPR certification earned by an employee. Note: Our Web site contents may vary.

27 Assigning a Performance Goal
The Talent submenu enables you to track the performance reviews and development goals of each team member. For each employee, you can create records or goals in any talent category and then assign the goal to any member of their team. Point to My Team and, under Talent, select Performance Goals. In this example, you’re assigning the goal of “Achieve Technical Expertise” to Peggy Chester.

28 Entering Talent Information
Here’s an example of Peggy’s talent record. We can see that she completed an HR compliance course, Sexual Harassment Awareness, which was a performance goal assigned to her.

29 The Time Off feature allows you to: View time-off balances

31 The Reports Menu You can easily generate reports using the Reports menu. To get started, point to Reports. In this example, we’ll begin with the My Team Reports submenu and select Personal & Employment.

32 Running Reports Let’s generate an employee directory of your direct reports. In the Report Name column, locate the My Team Employee Directory. Click the Action icon and select Run.

Select one or more companies, indicate the column names, and specify the sort order and output format. Then, click Run.

2 1 3 To view the report that you just ran, follow these steps: On the Output – All Reports page, locate the My Team Employee Directory report. Click the Action icon and select View as PDF. Select Open With and then click OK.
