51  Legal Assistance Foundation of Chicago: TIG Grantee, currently using Legal Server CMS.  Pro Bono Net: Non-profit administrator of LawHelp Interactive server.  PS Technologies, Inc: Creator and vendor of Legal Server CMS.  Illinois Legal Aid Online: Automated Documents provider for Legal Aid attorneys in Illinois, contracted to manage project.

52  Legal Aid attorneys now enter client and case information into Case Management Systems (CMSs) for efficient case management and reporting.  Attorneys can efficiently draft pleadings and forms using automated documents on LawHelp Interactive (LHI), and serve more clients.  For any case, up to 40% of the information that is needed to complete documents on LHI is already contained in the CMS.  Currently, attorney must enter this information twice– once in the CMS, once on LHI—which is inefficient.

LHI uses info from Legal Server to “pre-fill” many fields in the automated document, you fill out the rest in HotDocs. 4. Download finished documents to your machine - where you can save and print them
