3 What They Look Like A platypus kind of looks like a duck because the beak of the platypus looks like a beak of a duck. Also the platypus tail looks like a beavers tail and the feet look like bear feet. If you saw a platypus before you would not think its real.

4 Are They a Good Pet? A platypus is a bad pet because it kills little animals. They can also cause painful wounds in larger animals. The get help from a poison spur on each back foot. People feared the platypus are going to be because a lot are killed. If you capture a platypus you would either pay money or go to jail.

5 What Platypuses Eat Platypus eat a lot. They eat cray fish, worms, insects, fish, eggs and water plants. The platypus only gets there food from the water. 6 Where They Live Platypus live in Australia. They live in creeks, rivers and lakes. Did you know that platypus swim in the water but they don’t breath under water? If you want to see a platypus you would want to go to eastern west of Australia. They dig a burrow where they live.
