1 Level 2 Occupational Health & Safety Training Online Training

2 Tips and Tools Here are a few tips to help make your online training experience more user friendly: The training material is printable. However, please print only if necessary - think green! You will be able to access the modules via the Main Menu page at the end of this Introductory Module. Each module will open in a separate window. When you complete a module, close that module’s window and return to the main menu at the end of this introduction to open another module. It is recommended that you proceed through the training in order, beginning with Module 1 and ending with the Graded Exam. At the same time, this online training is meant to be self-paced, so you can start and pause your online session as necessary. You’ll notice that the module outline appears on the left-hand side of the screen. This can help you situate yourself inside a module’s learning structure.

3 Tips and Tools You will notice at times that the screen is presented in a standardized viewing mode, while at other times the screen has been enlarged for optimal viewing. Keep an eye out for either blinking navigation icons or prompts which will keep you moving forward through your training. Wait a few seconds and you will see them appear to assist you. You will mostly be using this icon * : You may also add a bookmark link to any of the three modules in progress using the “Bookmark” tab located at the top right-hand side of the window. This will enable you to return to the exact same place you left off. When going through the module, avoid having too many windows open at the same time. This will slow down the program. Various key documents are available under the “Attachment ” tab located at the top right-hand side of the window. You will be prompted to consult these documents as you go through the three modules. Some of the key documents include the Canada Labour Code – Part II (CLC), as well as the Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and a Glossary. * Not to be confused with the skip ahead button:
